SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Lead
We have a current opening for an SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Lead and are actively reviewing applications.
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Lead to join our IT Finance Center of Excellence in Parsippany, NJ. This role will support and enhance SAP Finance solutions across the Americas, partnering closely with Finance and global IT teams to design, implement, and maintain FI-related capabilities within the S/4HANA landscape.
- Lead the design, configuration, and ongoing support of SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and Asset Accounting.
- Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions while ensuring effective integration with other modules such as CO, MM, SD, PP, and HCM.
- Manage the SAP FI application lifecycle, including enhancements, upgrades, and operational support.i
- Provide third-level support for finance-related SAP issues through ServiceNow, collaborating with business users and IT teams to resolve complex incidents.
- Support SAP rollouts, system upgrades, and improvement initiatives, including testing, documentation, and post-implementation support.
- Partner with global Finance IT CoE teams across Europe and Asia to ensure alignment on standards and solutions.
- Provide functional guidance to project teams and developers, including support for functional specifications and system design.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure stability of finance systems during critical financial processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience working with SAP Finance solutions, including SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
- Strong functional expertise in SAP FI modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and Asset Accounting.
- Experience translating business requirements into SAP functional solutions, including configuration and system enhancements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of integration with other SAP modules such as CO, MM, SD, or PP.
- Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, or rollouts, including testing and user training.
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting processes, particularly within complex or global organizations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Experience in international or global organizations, ideally within FMCG, retail, or manufacturing environments, is preferred.

The base salary range for this position is $122,854 - 163,806. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
