Position SummaryThe Manager of Corporate Sponsorship & Development is responsible for leading and growing the organization’s corporate sponsorship program while supporting broader fundraising efforts, including the annual campaign. This role will develop and execute strategies to increase corporate engagement, sponsorship revenue, and long-term partnerships, while also contributing to individual and community-based giving initiatives.
This position is ideal for a relationship-driven professional who can both build a structured sponsorship program and actively participate in frontline fundraising.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Sponsorship Program Leadership
- Design, build, and manage a comprehensive corporate sponsorship strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Identify, cultivate, and secure new corporate sponsors and partners
- Strengthen relationships with existing corporate sponsors to increase retention and revenue
- Develop sponsorship packages, proposals, and recognition opportunities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sponsorship opportunities with events, programs, and initiatives
- Track and analyze sponsorship performance, pipeline, and revenue growth
Annual Campaign & Development Support
- Serve as an active member of the development team supporting the annual campaign
- Manage a portfolio of corporate and/or individual donors as part of campaign efforts
- Assist with donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies
- Partner with leadership and volunteer solicitors to advance campaign goals
- Support campaign events, communications, and engagement strategies
Relationship Management & External Engagement
- Represent the organization in the community, building visibility and relationships with business leaders
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including board members and volunteers
- Attend and support organizational events, sponsorship activations, and donor engagements
Program Development & Operations
- Establish processes and structure for a sponsorship program that currently needs expansion and focus
- Maintain accurate records of sponsor engagement and pipeline activity in CRM systems
- Prepare reports on sponsorship revenue, trends, and opportunities
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, business development, or related field
- Proven success in securing sponsorships, partnerships, or revenue-generating relationships
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising and annual campaigns preferred
