**Job Title: Picker and Packer** **Job Description** As a Picker and Packer, you will be responsible for scanning location and pallet license plates using scanner and voice equipment to pick products according to the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Your duties will include picking operations divided by zones, palletizing and wrapping picked items, organizing and replenishing racks, and ensuring cleanliness before and after work. **Responsibilities** + Scan location and pallet license plates using scanner and voice equipment. + Pick products according to WMS. + Palletize and wrap picked items. + Organize and replenish racks by moving pallets. + Clean work areas before and after shifts. + Store unloaded pallets to designated locations as directed. + Wrap and store unloaded pallets. + Classify products including frozen, refrigerated, and dry. + Merge multiple pallets into one with the same products. + Transfer same-day shipping pallets to the loading dock. + Unload containers sequentially, using conveyor belt and wrapping turn table. + Attach pallet license plates to wrapped pallets before storage. + Load prepared pallets to trucks as instructed. + Operate equipment like High Row and Electric Jacks to move and unload pallets. **Essential Skills** + Experience in picking, packing, and inventory management. + Proficiency with RF scanners. + Ability to work in a cold environment and wear appropriate clothing for exposure to below 0 degrees. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Capability to classify and handle frozen, refrigerated, and dry products. + Experience in operating warehouse equipment such as High Row and Electric Jacks. **Why Work Here?** This opportunity is with a large company that values its employees and offers the potential for permanent positions. Employees must have steel toe boots and dress in layers for warmth. A freezer suit will be provided for those working in extremely cold areas. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clifton, NJ. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $15.49 - $15.49/hr.
