We are looking for a dedicated Financial Data Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in East Windsor, New Jersey. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis and visualization to support business operations and drive financial decision-making. Responsibilities:• Design and develop Power BI dashboards to visualize key metrics and support business objectives.
• Conduct comprehensive data analysis to uncover insights and trends that drive strategic decisions.
• Map and document data requirements to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Create detailed and ad-hoc reports using advanced Excel techniques for financial planning and analysis.
• Perform profit and loss (P& L) analysis to evaluate financial performance and identify improvement areas.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate and timely data.
• Manage headcount analysis and provide recommendations based on workforce trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and integrity.
• Monitor and report on financial trends to support long-term organizational goals.• Proficiency in Power BI for designing and implementing dashboards.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel for creating complex reports and analyses.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in financial data analysis and forecasting.
• Ability to document and map data requirements effectively.
• Familiarity with profit and loss (P& L) analysis and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across diverse teams.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and consistency.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or similar industry is preferred.
