Computer System Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Computer Systems Analyst to evaluate, design, and implement technology solutions that meet our organization's business needs. In this role, you will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring that systems and processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing computer systems and procedures to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
• Consult with management and end-users to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Design and recommend system solutions, including hardware, software, and network configurations
• Develop cost-benefit analyses and feasibility studies for proposed system changes
• Coordinate with developers, vendors, and IT staff to implement new systems or upgrade existing ones
• Create and maintain documentation including system flowcharts, process diagrams, and user manuals
• Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure systems meet performance and security standards
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues post-implementation
• Train end-users and staff on new systems and procedures
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in systems analysis, IT consulting, or a related role
• Proficiency in system modeling tools, SQL, and data analysis
• Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and project management methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
• Certifications such as CBAP, CompTIA, or PMP
• Experience in business process modeling (BPM)
