Business Development Manager
$100,000-$130,000 base salary + uncapped commission and full benefits
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth by developing relationships with independent insurance agencies, IMOs, FMOs, and other distribution partners throughout Arizona.
This is a remote, territory-focused role where you'll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and presenting technology solutions to onboarding new partners. If you have experience in health insurance distribution, agency development, or channel sales and enjoy building new business, this is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing healthcare technology organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop new agency, broker, and IMO partnerships.
- Prospect through cold calling, networking, referrals, and trade shows.
- Conduct virtual and in-person product demonstrations.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through onboarding.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM.
- Collaborate with internal implementation and account management teams.
- Meet activity, pipeline, revenue, and partner activation goals.
- Represent the company at conferences and industry events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of business development or channel sales experience.
- Experience working with health insurance agencies, IMOs, FMOs, TPAs, or similar distribution organizations.
- Strong outbound prospecting and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing full sales cycles.
- CRM experience (Salesforce preferred).
- Experience with ACA, Medicare, ancillary, or limited medical insurance products is highly preferred.
