We are searching for the best talent for Tax Planning Manager – CSS located in New Brunswick, NJ.

You will be responsible for :

Tax Planning Manager - CSS will also be responsible for providing technical advice and oversight on tax related issues to business partners, as well as material support to other functional groups within and outside the Tax Department. This position will directly report to the Tax Director, Johnson & Johnson Global EPN Tax Planning who sits in Israel.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of global CSS legal entities and business strategies
• Development, implementation and continued oversight of governance for a sustainable tax and transfer pricing strategy for the CSS businesses, projects and documentation
• Review and execution of tax strategies including indirect and direct taxes to complement the CSS businesses and marketing strategies and advise internal clients of tax implications related to business strategies including R&D, Commercial and Supply Chain.
• Oversee development and continued ownership of a comprehensive, business relevant ETR analysis process
• Support internal and external audits as they relate to global CSS tax and transfer pricing.
• Assist in oversight and employee development of the CSS tax team
• Manage tax planning and transfer pricing engagements with external advisors and outside counsel
• Provide ad hoc tax support in broader Business Development areas for CSS and the related CSS platforms and/or Enterprise projects as assigned by direct supervisor
• Support broader team in all tax inputs relating to various CSS projects, including architecture flow reviews, participation in cross functional workshops and ad hoc analysis
• Other Duties : Develop and maintain effective relationships with the external advisor community, including local and global accounting and law firms AND build effective relationships with tax colleagues at country tax centers (“CTCs”) globally.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Tax or Economics
• At least seven years of related and relevant experience
• Deep knowledge and understanding of US tax law and indirect tax concepts is required.
• Comprehensive understanding and experience in US International Tax concepts (Transfer Pricing, Subpart F income, etc.) is required.
• Strong communication and partnering skills; strong tax research, writing and analytical skills; proficiency in spreadsheet modeling; ability to interface with tax and finance leaders is required.
• Ability to identify, develop and implement various process improvements to facilitate tax reporting and International tax compliance requirements centered on increasing controls and making processes more efficient is required.
• Exposure to tax accounting issues regarding international operations preferred.
• Strong project management skills required.
• Ability to identify, develop and lead implementation of tax planning opportunities preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$100,000- $173,500

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
