Physical Therapy Assistant
- Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to each patients needs.
- Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercise, gait training, and use of modalities.
- Accurately document patient progress and treatment activities in the EMR system.
- Communicate effectively with the supervising PT and the rest of the care team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and proper body mechanics.
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented clinic culture.
- Active New Jersey Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient or similar setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with EMR systems preferred.
- Monday-Thursday: 11:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m.
- Friday: Earlier end time (typically 9:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. or as scheduled).
- Competitive hourly pay: $42-$48/hour (based on experience).
