Accounting Services Supervisor
- Monitoring daily funding levels to ensure sufficient capacity to issue pending/upcoming payments; interact with clients to arrange additional funding when necessary.
- Issuing checks and other payments (wire transfers, ACH).
- Providing detailed client reporting (monthly and ad-hoc).
- Reconciling bank accounts to internal systems.
- Ensuring data integrity related to financial records in core systems.
- Responding to client and internal inquiries promptly, professionally, and efficiently.
- Develop client relationships, plan and supervise expectations and deliverables, and be a key client contact.
- Assist clients in accounting and financial reporting needs, including ensuring appropriate resources are being allocated.
- Assist in evaluating and establishing financial reporting internal controls.
- Provide client management with value added financial analysis and ongoing process feedback.
- Assist in the development of enhanced department best practices, processes, tools, and systems to enhance best-in-class approach.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration.
- Experience in the insurance or broader banking/financial services industry strongly desired, particularly in a similar accounting/operations/back-office role
- Supervisory/Management experience required.
- Strong operational skills/process driven mentality.
- Highly organized with an eye for detail.
- Excellent client service skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimal oversight.
- Strong excel skills; experience with database tools such as Tableau a plus.
