Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Location: Hopewell Campus, Pennington, NJ (New Jersey radiology jobs)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2030 - $2190
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (No weekends, No on-call)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Setting: On-site clinical support
• Treatment Equipment: Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator
• Patient Volume: Approximately 35–40 patients per day, shared between 2 technologists

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist or Radiation Therapist
• Valid New Jersey State License – Radiation Therapist
• ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• AHA BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
• Proficient in operating linear accelerators and Varian TrueBeam equipment
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist and above
• Frequent standing, walking, pushing/pulling, and patient positioning required

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Deliver daily radiation treatments in accordance with physician prescriptions
• Perform accurate patient positioning and setup for each session
• Educate and support patients throughout the radiation therapy process
• Verify all treatment parameters prior to beam delivery
• Maintain precise and up-to-date treatment documentation
• Operate radiation therapy equipment independently with minimal supervision
