QA Business Analyst

Akkodis is seeking an QA Business Analyst for a Contract with a client in Jersey City, NJ / Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL. Candidate must have strong capability in developing and validating Power BI dashboards to ensure accurate, high‑quality data insights.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $46/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

QA Business Analyst job responsibilities include:

• Oversees the gathering and translation of business requirements into clear technical specifications for dashboards.

• Develops interactive, user‑friendly Power BI reports using DAX, Power Query, and optimized data models.

• Conducts thorough QA testing, including data validation and debugging inconsistencies in reports.

• Performs data modelling and implements performance optimization techniques such as RLS.

• Maintains documentation covering data sources, transformations, and report functionality.

• Collaborates with stakeholders to present insights and ensure dashboards align with key business KPIs.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical discipline.

• 8–10 years of experience in BI development, QA validation, and analytical reporting.

• Strong capability in building and validating Power BI dashboards using DAX, Power Query, and optimized data models.

• Candidate will possess proven experience in performing rigorous QA testing, including data validation, defect identification, and report debugging.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $46.00 per hour
