In-Office Foreclosure Paralegal

Position Overview: The law firm is looking for a highly skilled Paralegal to support their litigation department. This role requires a professional with extensive litigation experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to handle complex casework efficiently. As a key member of the legal team, the Paralegal will assist in all aspects of litigation, from case preparation to trial support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct detailed legal research and compile case information.
• Prepare and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts for depositions, meetings, and court appearances.
• Review and summarize evidence, such as deposition transcripts and medical records.
• Manage case timelines and deadlines, ensuring timely filings and responses.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for trial, including organizing exhibits and trial notebooks.
• Provide administrative support including managing calendars and client communications.

Qualifications:

• Paralegal certification
• At least 3 years of litigation experience in a law firm or legal environment.
• Proficiency in legal research, case management software, and litigation support tools.
• Strong understanding of civil procedure, court rules, and litigation practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
