IT-OT Infrastructure & Cyber Architect
Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT-OT Infrastructure & Cyber Architect in Parsippany, NJ. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for defining the long-term architecture and standards for secure, scalable, and resilient IT and OT infrastructure across both corporate and manufacturing environments
- Designs and governs technologies including networks, servers, cloud platforms, identity systems, and industrial control environments while ensuring alignment with business, operational, and safety requirements; A significant focus is on securing ICS, DCS, PLC, SCADA, and plant network environments while supporting IT/OT convergence and maintaining uptime and reliability
- Embeds cybersecurity best practices into infrastructure designs, leveraging frameworks such as NIST, IEC 62443, and Zero Trust to guide network security, access management, monitoring, and risk mitigation
- Supports governance, compliance, audits, and risk assessments while maintaining architecture standards, documentation, and enterprise-wide technology roadmaps
- Strong background in network, server, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure (on prem and hybrid)
- Experience with identity and access management, directory services, and authentication platforms
- Experience designing secure architectures for segmented networks, privileged access, monitoring, and resilience
- Proven experience designing infrastructure with built-in cybersecurity controls
- Hands-on knowledge of OT/ICS architectures, including plant networks and industrial protocols
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity architecture principles and frameworks (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443)
- Ability to translate cybersecurity requirements into practical infrastructure designs
