Life Support Instructor

Inspira Health is seeking a full-time *Life Support Instructor* to join our Education team on the day shift in Woodbury, NJ. In this role, you will provide instruction for American Heart Association (AHA) accredited courses, including CPR, First Aid, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Heart Saver programs. You will assess student performance, ensure proper documentation, and help prepare both healthcare providers and community members to respond effectively in emergency situations. *The pay for this position is $25.83 – $36.16 per hour.*

*Responsibilities:*

● Deliver engaging and accurate instruction in AHA-accredited courses to individuals and groups

● Assess student knowledge and skills and provide constructive feedback and evaluation as necessary

● Maintain required competencies and certifications in assigned life support areas

● Ensure all documentation and course records meet AHA and Inspira Health standards

● Promote a culture of safety and preparedness through education and training

*Qualifications:*

● Associate’s degree preferred

● 2+ years of experience teaching as an AHA-certified instructor

● Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, and Heart Saver certifications required; must also maintain competencies in Primary Care practice areas

● Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills
