Responsibilities:
This position assists workers engaged in processing sheet metal products by performing the following duties:

• Holds tape measuring and other measuring devices to perform dimensional verification of finished products.
• Assists line operator in record keeping of production and material utilization.
• Loads, stack, transports stocks and work in process by hand or truck.
• Cleans up and trim metal preparatory to manufacturing, packaging or shipping.
• Picks up, stacks and straps scrap from work area.
• Performs general shop floor clean up and maintenance.
• Follows all safety rules and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Reports unsafe conditions and uses equipment and materials safely.
• Performs other routine duties as directed.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements:

• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand for most of the work shift and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Regularly lifts up to 10 lbs.; occasionally lifts up to 25 lbs.
• Must have basic vision (distance and peripheral) and be able to communicate with coworkers.
• Work environment may be loud and includes moving machinery.
• Position is located in a manufacturing setting with equipment such as conveyor systems, automated packaging machines, wood saws, and forklift traffic.

Starting rate is $19.00 per hour.
Base pay information is aligned with market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.

Work Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
