Zing recruiting, in partnership with a leading pharma company, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Support Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the warehouse and Customer Service teams in resolving inventory issues, enhancing the customer experience, and increasing overall customer satisfaction. The position encompasses all areas of inventory management and control within our distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Receiving and Operations teams in investigating and resolving inventory-related issues.
• Collaborate with the Cycle Counting team to address inventory discrepancies using Material Handling Equipment (Cherry Picker).
• Partner with Customer Service to manage Returned Goods Authorizations (RGAs) and other return issues.
• Process returns and prepare products for destruction or restocking in conjunction with Quality Control and Warehousing.
• Work with Quality Control to receive and ship controlled substance materials.
• Investigate customer shortages to ensure resolution and satisfaction.
• Support Customer Service with inventory inquiries and issues.
• Aid Quality Control in addressing inventory concerns related to product destruction.
• Identify opportunities and drive process improvements in warehouse operations.
• Generate metrics, analysis, and reporting on key performance indicators.
• Assist with Picking and Auditing functions during End of Month and End of Quarter periods using standup reach forklifts and powered pallet jacks.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree required.
• 1-3 years of warehouse/inventory control experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and Outlook; working knowledge of SAP Inventory Transactions is required.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
• Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with external suppliers via phone and email.
• Capability to set up and lead meetings across various functions and with external vendors.
• Material Handling Equipment (MHE) certification is preferred.
