Line Cook
100 Steps Kitchen + Raw Bar is an upscale seafood and new American cuisine restaurant in Cranford, NJ. Our Executive Chef is seeking a confident, passionate, and enthusiastic Line Cook.
Qualifications:- We require at least 1 year of Line Cook Experience and/or a Culinary Certificate.
- Ability to execute a recipe as it is written or shown by our chef and delivers consistent results.
Daily Responsibilities Include the Following:
Organizational skills:
- Able to plan your prep time in order to achieve maximum productivity.
- Keeping the station stocked for service with all mise en place labeled and dated.
- Tasting ingredients daily to ensure freshness.
Cleanliness:
- Keeping your workstation clean at all times, as well as do routine deep cleaning throughout the kitchen.
Efficient:
- Understanding the details are what makes the product.
- Following recipe procedures, and plating instructions.
