The Role
We're seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Sales Operations Coordinator to manage the full order cycle - from supplier procurement through customer fulfillment and invoicing - while supporting our business development efforts. You'll be the central point of coordination between vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders, making sure every order is processed accurately and delivered on time, and you'll help grow the business through proactive outreach and customer relationship management. Over time, there's a clear path to take on your own accounts and sales targets, backed by a performance bonus structure. This is an ideal role for someone who likes ownership, thrives on organization, and wants to grow within a specialized B2B distribution business.

What You'll Do

Order & Sales Cycle Management

• Coordinate, process, and track all stages of the order cycle, from supplier procurement to customer fulfillment and post-delivery invoicing.
• Communicate with vendors and customers to confirm pricing, resolve inquiries, and provide product specifications and technical documentation.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.

Business Development & Account Growth

• Strengthen relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities to grow those accounts.
• Conduct proactive outreach to prospective customers via email and phone to generate and qualify leads.
• Support the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and marketing follow-up.
• Help represent AMG at key industry trade shows (SupplySide East and West) and follow up on leads generated there.
• As you grow into the role, take ownership of select accounts and sales targets, supported by a performance-based bonus structure.

Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare and manage the paperwork and documentation needed to satisfy customer requests and meet industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate customer records and manage data entry across our accounting and workflow systems.

Inventory & Reporting

• Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock and flag reorder needs.
• Conduct quarterly internal audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Track and analyze sales and order data to surface trends and opportunities for improvement.

What We're Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience in sales operations, order management, customer service, or a related coordination role—ideally in distribution, ingredients, chemicals, or a regulated industry.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines at once.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort reaching out to customers and prospects.
• An appetite to grow into a sales-driven role and take on revenue responsibility over time.
• Comfort with business software and a willingness to learn our stack. Experience with an accounting system (e.g., QuickBooks or Sage), a CRM (e.g., HubSpot), inventory management software (e.g., Cin7), and Microsoft Excel is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary of $50,000–$65,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus a competitive benefits package.
• Performance-based bonus structure as you take on accounts and sales targets, with growing earning potential over time.
