Registered Nurse (RN) Per Diem Homecare

Come work for us and see how BrightStar Care employees uphold A Higher Standard. We are currently hiring per-diem RNs, for a variety of skilled care such as, injections, wound care, & home infusions. Three years of experience working as an RN in a hospital setting or similar is preferred. You must have an IV certification to perform home infusions and you must be an expert at IV insertion. You must also be comfortable working one-on-one in the home with no back-up. You will work directly under our DON and Assistant DON who offer full support. Our cases are located in Union County and there are no minimum amount of hours worked required. Benefits * Weekly pay with direct deposit * $45 - $90 an hour depending on the case and billing rates * Mileage reimbursement between cases * GPS time and attendance technology enhances your access to key scheduling and care information * Variety of assignments, procedures, and treatments * Over 95% of BrightStar locations are Joint Commission accredited or in the process * International opportunities with over 300 locations in US and Canada * Health insurance * 401K with matching * One-on-one patient care * Flexible schedule, no minimum of hours worked required Responsibilities * Perform care as defined by client’s individual Plan of Care and within scope of state’s nurse practice act * Monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes * Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill * Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws * Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs Requirements * Current unrestricted RN license in state for which care is being provided * Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
