The Company:

Youth Athletes United was created to provide the best programming and service in the market for youth sports, starting with their first sports experience. The long-term impact will allow us to create healthy habits at a young age, teach life skills and increase youth activity across the board.

THE HISTORY:

Soccer Stars has been in the youth soccer business for over 24 years and have been recognized as the largest operating program in the US.

The Position:

We are looking to hire an energetic and fun-loving Soccer Coach! Within the afterschool hours from 2PM to 6:30PM. Who will lead our children in fun and educational activities while ensuring safety for all. Our ideal candidate has prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, camper or leader), and enjoys working with children, aged 2-12. This position is excellent for someone who has an interest in pursuing early childhood education, or child development. New Coaches can work *5-20 classes a week and can earn from $20per hr up to $45per hr.

Day-to-day Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support the lead coach in the delivery of a dynamic and inspiring class, ensuring each child is engaged and challenged, and supporting them in achieving their motor development goals while fostering a passion for movement and healthy habits in an organized, structured, and enjoyable manner.
• Demonstrate effective and concise communication by reporting any issues to the office and offering appropriate solutions.
• Adhere to punctuality by arriving for class 15 minutes before the start time.
• Proficiently set up and dismantle equipment.
• Provide hands-on individual and group attention to children, offering personalized guidance and support.

Compensation starts at $20.00/hour for Coach positions and rates can increase up to $45.00/hour

Requirements

• Proven experience in working with children, or currently in the process of learning about coaching/child development/education.
• Demonstrates an expressive, charismatic, and nurturing personality
• Exhibits responsibility, dedication, and confidence with a strong work ethic
• Energetic individual with a high level of enthusiasm
• Ability to effectively manage groups of both children and adults
• Must have working availability on Weekdays from 2:00PM to 6:30PM.
