Job Summary

The Head of Marketing serves as the firm’s brand architect and growth accelerator—leading all marketing, communications, and business development enablement efforts across digital, social, and traditional channels. This strategic role blends creative leadership with data-driven execution to enhance market visibility, fuel sales engagement, and drive measurable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute a cohesive brand, content, and marketing strategy aligned with the firm’s growth objectives.
  • Elevate the firm’s position as a thought leader in insurance, risk management, and employee benefits through consistent storytelling and client engagement.
  • Oversee all brand identity, creative design, and messaging to ensure alignment across web, social, digital, and print platforms.

Digital, Social & Content Marketing

  • Lead all digital marketing initiatives including website, SEO/SEM, email, and paid media.
  • Direct social media strategy and execution across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and other emerging platforms.
  • Oversee high-quality content creation—thought leadership, videos, podcasts, case studies, and digital assets—to support sales and client engagement.
  • Use analytics to optimize performance and ROI across all campaigns.

Sales Collaboration & Enablement

  • Partner closely with the sales and client service teams to develop integrated campaigns that generate qualified leads and support cross-selling.
  • Leverage tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, and ZoomInfo to drive engagement, track pipeline conversion, and measure marketing impact.
  • Develop modern sales collateral, presentations, and playbooks that reflect the firm’s expertise and value proposition.
  • Support external events like industry events, trade shows, client forums and network events to assist in new pipeline creation.

Team Leadership & Operations

  • Manage and mentor a team of five marketing professionals, fostering creativity, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Oversee and strategically allocate a multi-channel marketing budget to ensure maximum ROI.
  • Manage vendor relationships (digital agencies, creative studios, PR partners, and technology providers).

Innovation & Growth

  • Identify and deploy emerging marketing technologies and automation tools to enhance efficiency and impact.
  • Stay ahead of digital trends in professional services, business-to-business marketing, and insurance brokerage sectors.
  • Serve as a change agent who modernizes the firm’s marketing and communication capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, ideally within professional services, financial services, or ideally insurance brokerage.
  • Proven experience leading and managing high-performing marketing teams (5+ direct reports) and managing sizeable budgets.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B marketing, sales integration, lead generation, and digital transformation.
  • Proficiency with WordPress, HubSpot, Salesforce, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, social media management platforms and modern design/content tools
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Salary for this position ranges from $150,000.00 - $300,000.00. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

Qualifying positions will also be eligible for comprehensive benefits, such as participation in family medical and dental insurance programs, 401K plan, and PTO.
