Cutting Machine Operator

**Urgently Hiring Cutting Machine Operators in Wayne, NJ** **Location:** Wayne, NJ **Shift:** 6am-2pm (Monday-Friday) - Expected to work 6 am - 6 pm with the overtime required **Pay:** $27/hour ; Overtime: $40.50/hour (A Lot of Overtime is Needed) **Duration:** Long Term opportunity **Job Description** Operate sheet-fed cutting equipment such as Bobst 162 CER, Bobst 1600 ER, Bobst 103, and Bobst 126-BMA. Responsibilities include performing make-readies, preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and ensuring proper job setup before feeding the press. Maintain and lubricate press equipment, inspect pallets, complete quality checklists, and record time and material usage in the PEAK system. Operate with inline embossing when required and perform hand packing as needed. **Responsibilities** + Operate sheet-fed cutting equipment efficiently and safely. + Perform make-readies, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on equipment. + Verify job setup and ensure accuracy before feeding press. + Maintain and lubricate press equipment. + Inspect pallets and complete quality checklists. + Record time and material usage in the PEAK system. + Operate with inline embossing when necessary. + Perform hand packing and complete other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Ability to safely and efficiently operate cutting equipment. + High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. + Proficiency in basic arithmetic, fractions, decimals, and interpreting bar graphs. + Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. + Basic mechanical aptitude. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Manufacturing experience preferred. + Experience with hand jacks, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts preferred. + Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. + Able to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions. + Possession of a company-issued Fork Truck Operator's License **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wayne, NJ. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
