Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Location: Hackettstown, NJ

Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $19-20/Hour
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 7am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and align electro-optical systems and mechanical subassemblies

• Perform light electronic wiring and cable fabrication

• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and detailed assembly drawings

• Build and test thru-hole printed circuit boards

• Conduct final testing and calibration of instruments

• Follow work instructions and maintain an organized workspace

• Assist with general production tasks and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics

• Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail

• Basic to intermediate computer skills; MS Office knowledge preferred

• Associate degree or equivalent preferred

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Strong communication skills and a reliable work ethic
