Data Management Associate Job Description
Overview
The Data Management Associate, your daily tasks often include entering, verifying, and updating data in multiple systems, generating routine and ad-hoc reports, and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of large data sets. You may also assist in identifying data issues, tracking data corrections, and supporting team members with data-related queries. Collaboration with departments such as IT, finance, operations, and analytics is common, as accurate data is essential for organization-wide decision-making. This role offers a dynamic environment where attention to detail and proactive problem-solving are highly valued. This role reports to CFO.
Essential Functions
- Design and implement data management solutions
- Understand business Intelligence & analytics
- Master Large Data Sets and create reports
- Gather data from various sources, ensuring accurate and timely input into databases or systems.
- Serve as a hands-on lead professional comfortable managing large data
· Assist in the preparation of executive level presentations and materials for Senior Leadership, and the Executive Team
· Build, maintain, and update Excel-based planning tools and models, ensuring data integrity and process efficiency.
· Support strategic finance initiatives, perform scenario modeling, and deliver business-impact assessments.
· Perform Audits, resolve inconsistencies, and maintain data integrity
· Maintain data processes, workflows, and ensure transparency
· Work with multiple departments including IT and support data-related projects
Qualifications
· Minimum 4 years of experience in related field.
· Strong technical and computer skills, including accounting software, SQL, along with intermediate Microsoft Excel skills. (Pivot Tables. VLOOKUP’s, Sumifs)
· Experience with CRM or ERP systems (e.g. Salesforce, SAP) may be required
· Proficient in database management systems (e.g. SQL, Oracle, MySQL)
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely
· Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
· Strong organizational skills and handle confidential information with integrity
· Legally eligible to work in the United States
· Bachelor's Degree required major Finance and/or accounting preferred
