Product Manager, Vice President - Compensation

As a Product Manager in Total Rewards, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core product lead, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing products that have firmwide impact. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics
- Leads end-to-end product management, including roadmap planning, prioritization, and execution, of a critical product area.
- Collaborates effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, driving alignment and buy-in at all levels
- Prepares and delivers executive-level presentations, clearly communicating product vision, strategy, and progress
- Oversees user research and design processes to ensure products are user-centric and meet business objectives
- Writes clear user stories and business requirements, translating customer needs into actionable development tasks
- Partners closely with engineering teams, leveraging technical acumen to facilitate effective communication and informed decision-making
- Independently tests and validates product builds to ensure quality and functionality
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently, making decisions and driving initiatives forward with minimal guidance
- Exceptional ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality products
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing and collaborating across diverse teams
- Deep understanding of engineering principles and application architecture, enabling effective partnership with technical teams
