Medical Records Processor - FT Position

An Independent Medical Evaluation company is seeking a strong candidate for a Full-Time position within the Medical Records Department in our Bloomfield office. In this role, you will be responsible for the handling of the following daily tasks.

· Opening incoming packages received through mail and courier

· Processing incoming medical records, received through email and courier service

· Processing incoming imaging studies, film links received through email and hard copy films on CD

· Printing medical records from email and client portals

· Scanning and linking all medical records to service in operating system

· Organizing chart wall for upcoming examinations

· Responding to client emails

· Emailing film links to doctors for upcoming exams

Must be detail oriented, have a professional demeanor, working in an office setting. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and must have exceptional computer skills and knowledge of imaging studies! The perfect candidate should be tech savvy!

Must display the following skillset:

• STRONG computers skills are required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – heavy email
• Comfortable with converting to PDF file
• Comfortable with handling JPEG, DICOM and ONEDIVE links.
• Scanning
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
• Knowledge of imaging studies is a PLUS and preferred
• Medical Record experience is preferred.
• Friendly, outgoing, upbeat personality and attention to detail is a must.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task
• Salary is based on experience.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

· High school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of one-year-related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience in a medical office preferred.
