Color Compounder

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Three Roll Mill Color Technician / Operator to join our Color Manufacturing team. This role goes beyond standard production - it requires the ability to work independently, collect and analyze process data, conduct pilot and test batches, and recommend improvements to optimize color formulations and manufacturing processes.

• Operate and adjust three roll mill equipment to achieve precise pigment dispersions and particle sizes.  

• Weigh and process pigments and raw materials according to batch records.  

• Manufacture finished color batches and monitor in-process quality.  

• Conduct pilot and test batches to evaluate new formulations or process changes.  

• Collect, analyze, and document process data to ensure consistency and efficiency.  

• Recommend process adjustments based on testing and observations.  

• Clean and maintain equipment and production areas following GMP standards. 
• Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines. 

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in color cosmetics manufacturing, including three-roll mill operation. 
• Strong knowledge of pigment grinds, dispersion processes, and batch processing. 
• Experience with color shade matching preferred. 
• Knowledge of GMP standards and commitment to quality. 
• Ability to work independently, analyze data, and implement process improvements. 
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. 
• Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and reliability. 
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
