Now Hiring: Lead Teacher Full-Time
Shifts Available: Full-Time | Morning Shift | Afternoon Shift Are you a passionate early childhood educator ready to take the lead in shaping young minds? At The Goddard School of Flemington, weve been trusted by local families for over 25 years, and were looking for a dedicated Lead Teacher to guide our classrooms with care, creativity, and professionalism. We put teachers first because teachers put children first. NO nights, weekends, or holiday shifts ever!
Lead Teacher Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons that promote learning through play and discovery
- Create a warm, safe, and structured classroom environment
- Support childrens social, emotional, physical, and academic growth
- Maintain open, ongoing communication with parents
- Oversee Assistant Teachers and support staff to ensure consistency in the classroom
- Monitor and document developmental progress
- Ensure compliance with NJ licensing, health, and safety standards
- CDA or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) preferred
- At least 12 years of experience in a preschool or childcare setting
- Passion for working with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers
- Strong leadership and classroom management skills
- Positive, dependable, and collaborative team player
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training available if not current)
