About Us
Hanus & Parsons is a busy personal injury and worker’s compensation law firm dedicated to providing high-quality legal services. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Legal Assistant for Worker's Compensation or Personal Injury to support our attorneys and contribute to the smooth operation of our office.
Responsibilities
· Prepare, draft, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
· Manage calendars, deadlines, and court schedules
· File legal documents with courts and administrative agencies
· Maintain and organize case files (electronic and physical)
· Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel professionally
· Perform legal research as needed
Qualifications
· 1 to 2 years experience as a legal assistant in Worker's Compensation or Personal Injury
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software
· Knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures is a plus
· Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
