Responsibilities
- Provide and assist with therapeutic interventions under the direction of a licensed physical therapist for LTAC patients
- Implement therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, ROM, and mobility activities to promote functional gains
- Monitor patient responses to treatment, document progress, and communicate any concerns to the supervising clinician
- Maintain accurate treatment notes, progress logs, and timely documentation in the patient record
- Ensure patient safety during therapy sessions, proper equipment use, and adherence to infection control protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff and the broader care team to coordinate care plans and support discharge planning

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in New Jersey or eligibility to practice
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
- Prior LTAC or skilled nursing facility experience preferred
- Strong documentation and communication skills; ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Comfortable working a daytime 8-hour shift (08:00–16:30) in a travel assignment and meeting guaranteed hours
