Job Summary
The Laborer/Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. This includes routine cleaning of plant floors, common areas, and equipment, as well as assisting with minor labor tasks such as painting and lifting. The role plays a key part in supporting health and safety standards within the workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of plant floors, walls, ceilings, breakrooms, locker rooms, and restrooms
- Perform regular sanitation of machinery, tools, and equipment used in production areas
- Follow proper procedures for chemical handling and use of cleaning agents
- Empty trash bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and operate industrial floor scrubbers or buffers
- Clean spills promptly to prevent safety hazards or contamination
- Assist with light labor tasks such as painting and lifting materials (up to 50 lbs)
R equired Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and safe chemical handling
- Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness

- Prior experience in industrial cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping in a manufacturing environment
