Job Overview:

The Data Coordinator is responsible for organizing and collecting patient data/information to support the lung surveillance/ screening programs

Qualifications:

Required:

• HS Diploma
• Familiar with medical terminology
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full Time
• Days

Essential Functions:

• Maintain files of surveillance/screening patients
• Creates and maintains charts as appropriate
• Screens new patients for surveillance/screening eligibility
• Registers and schedules patients for testing and physician appointments
• Answers the telephone and triage calls to the proper person,
• Calls surveillance patients to assure proper follow-up
• Assists in obtaining and preparing information/forms per guidelines of surveillance/screening programs
• Responds to data queries when requested
• Demonstrates flexibility in response to unexpected changes in work volume, emergency staffing and schedule changes
