We are seeking an experienced Survey Project Manager to lead surveying projects from initial planning through completion. This is an excellent opportunity for a survey professional who enjoys managing projects, working directly with clients, and mentoring technical staff.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage surveying projects, schedules, budgets, and deliverables from start to finish
• Oversee boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction, and land development surveys
• Coordinate field crews, survey technicians, engineers, and other project team members
• Review survey data, plans, plats, legal descriptions, and technical deliverables
• Communicate with clients, municipalities, contractors, and other project stakeholders
• Prepare scopes of work, proposals, cost estimates, and project schedules
• Ensure projects meet applicable standards, regulations, and quality requirements
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior survey staff
• Support business development and maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional surveying experience, with project management experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, practices, and applicable NJ standards
• Experience with boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction surveying
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or other surveying and design software
• Strong understanding of survey calculations, legal descriptions, and plats
• Excellent communication, organizational, and client-management skills
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in New Jersey preferred
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
