FedEx Full-Time Delivery Truck Driver
Position Summary:
· Candidate will be employed by an Independent Contractor for FedEx.
· Employee will report daily to our Wayne location where the truck will be loaded for dispatch.
· Driver will complete pick-up and delivery within a geographically defined area until work is finished.
· Applicant must be available to work weekends, as we are a 7 day operation.
Responsibilities:
· Position includes driving a company owned vehicle in a safe manner.
· Pick-ups and deliveries must be made within a designated timeframe.
· Signatures and pictures will be collected through company scanner at each location.
· Fueling of vehicle and reporting any known issues to management.
Qualifications:
· Applicant must be 21+ years old and have a clean driver’s license with no moving violations or tickets within the last 3 years of driving history.
· Any past DUI’s or DWI’s within the last 10 years will not qualify a candidate.
· Candidate needs to pass a criminal background check, drug test, and DOT physical.
· Must pass a road test using an 18 foot step van while having at least 1 year verifiable driving experience. No CDL is necessary.
· You must be able to handle packages that weigh up to 150lbs.
· New hire must have command of English language.

Compensation:
· Employees are paid salaried on a per day basis at a daily rate.
· Employees will be compensated weekly through direct deposit.
· Sick days and vacation days are accrued and paid based on length of employment.
· 4 paid holidays upon start of employment.
· Company uniforms will be provided.
· Overtime may be available.
