Responsibilities
- Implement and assist with physical therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients as directed.
- Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and communicate changes to the supervising PT.
- Assist with gait training, transfers, balance activities, and functional mobility tasks.
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control and equipment safety protocols.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and activity modification as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in New Jersey or eligibility for licensure in New Jersey.
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting.
- Prior experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered care environment and communicate effectively with the care team.
- Ability to perform duties in a physical therapy setting and manage routine patient care activities.
