Civil Design Engineer (Roadway/Highway + Site Civil | Hybrid NYC)

We’re hiring several Civil Design Engineers with 4+ years of experience to support transportation and infrastructure projects across New York City. This is a hybrid role based in Downtown Manhattan , offering the opportunity to work on high-impact projects involving bridges, highways, tunnels, and multi-modal systems.

🔍 About the Role

You’ll contribute to the design and technical coordination of transportation projects, working closely with project managers and multidisciplinary teams. This role is ideal for engineers with strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills and a passion for improving urban infrastructure in NYC.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Design transportation and infrastructure projects across NYC
• Assist with technical design and coordination to meet deadlines and budgets
• Prepare contract documents, specifications, and cost estimates
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Utilize design software such as MicroStation , OpenRoads , or Civil 3D

✅ Qualifications

• 4+ years of civil engineering experience (transportation focus preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
• EIT certification preferred
• Proficiency in MicroStation , OpenRoads , or Civil 3D
• Experience with bridges, highways, tunnels, and urban infrastructure
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Jersey City, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
