Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Copy Clerk for a temporary office-based assignment in Princeton, NJ. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented candidate with experience in mail services, copy center support, office services, print production, or general administrative support. The Copy Clerk will support daily mail, copying, printing, finishing, and office services operations in a professional nonprofit environment. Key Responsibilities - Support mail services operations, including sorting, processing, and preparing outgoing and incoming mail and shipments.- Operate office services equipment such as copiers, printers, binding equipment, and related production or finishing equipment.
- Assist with document production, copying, scanning, printing, and basic bindery or finishing tasks.
- Maintain accuracy, organization, and timely completion of service requests in a busy office environment.
- Communicate professionally with internal clients, team members, and visitors while providing responsive service.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient office services or mailroom work area. Compensation and Benefits - Pay rate: $17.25 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.
- Assignment type: Contract/temporary.
- Duration: Approximately 3 months.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Location: Princeton, NJ.
- Start date: ASAP.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Process and sort mail, shipments, and office service requests accurately and efficiently.- Operate copy, print, finishing, binding, and general office services equipment.
- Support document production tasks, including copying, printing, scanning, and basic finishing work.
- Manage multiple requests and priorities while maintaining professional service standards. - 1 to 2 years of relevant office services, mailroom, copy center, administrative support, or related experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Working knowledge of Adobe software.
- Knowledge of production print and finishing or bindery equipment strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of mail sorting and shipping processes.
- Comfortable using typical office services equipment and technology.
- Ability to lift or move 50 lbs. or greater.
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time.
- Manual dexterity to operate office machinery, including phones, copy machines, and binding equipment.
- Ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong multitasking skills with flexibility to handle simultaneous projects.
- Professional, personable, articulate, and knowledgeable communication style.
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision. Preferred Qualifications - Prior experience in a mailroom, copy center, print production, shipping and receiving, or office services environment.
- Familiarity with nonprofit, education, corporate office, or professional services work environments.
- Experience supporting internal customers in a service-oriented office setting.
