As a Senior Cost Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in developing and reviewing construction cost estimates across all project phases, bringing hands-on estimating expertise, a collaborative spirit, and strong analytical skills to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with clients, design professionals, and stakeholders to review and revise estimates, ensuring clear communication and coordination across disciplines.
• Technical Excellence: Demonstrated experience with both conceptual and detailed construction cost estimating, including the development of unit prices and/or lump sum estimates based on labor, materials, and equipment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction means and methods. Conduct cost analyses including value engineering and life-cycle costing. Review cost impact analyses related to construction phasing and scheduling.
• Process Management: Ability to manage multiple estimates in a fast-paced environment, ensuring consistency and adherence to cost estimating principles and CSI division formatting.

Requirements:

• Education + Experience: Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. 10-15 years of relevant cost estimating experience on infrastructure, transportation, or horizontal construction projects. Prior experience as an estimator for heavy/civil or horizontal construction is essential. Familiarity with public sector capital programs and procurement processes is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in current estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with CSI division systems and cost estimating tools and templates.
• Communication + Coordination: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
