Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Installation & Warehouse Assistant to support both our installation team and warehouse operations. This hybrid role combines hands-on fieldwork with warehouse responsibilities and is ideal for someone with construction, mechanical, warehouse, or general labor experience who enjoys physical work and wants to learn a skilled trade.

Initially, this position will typically involve assisting installers at customer job sites several days per week while also helping maintain warehouse operations. Over time, the role is expected to become more warehouse-focused, supporting inventory, organization, equipment refurbishment, and daily operational needs.

Responsibilities

Installation Support

• Assist technicians with the installation of ramps, stairlifts, elevators, and other accessibility equipment.
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
• Use hand and power tools under the direction of lead technicians.
• Help prepare work areas and maintain clean, safe job sites.
• Assist with basic assembly and installation tasks.
• Provide professional and courteous customer interactions.
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.

Warehouse Support

• Organize, clean, and maintain warehouse inventory and work areas.
• Assist with refurbishing and preparing equipment for future installations.
• Receive, stage, and store incoming materials and products.
• Prepare materials and equipment for daily installation schedules.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Support general warehouse operations and inventory organization.

Qualifications

Required

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience using basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift and move 75+ lbs.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
• Reliable transportation.

Preferred

• Construction, carpentry, warehouse, moving, delivery, or installation experience.
• Experience assisting skilled trades professionals.
• OSHA certification.
• Forklift operating experience (not required but considered a plus).
• Valid driver's license preferred.
