About the Role

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking passionate and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join the team at Jersey City Medical Center , a three-time Magnet®-designated hospital . This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and high-performing clinical environment.

We are hiring for the following units:

• Medical-Surgical (Med Surg)
• Emergency Department (ED)
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Post ICU

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
• Deliver and administer direct patient care according to professional standards
• Continuously evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary
• Communicate care plans clearly with the multidisciplinary team
• Delegate and oversee tasks when appropriate
• Accurately document all patient care activities
• Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
• Participate in shared clinical decision-making and collaborative care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in the unit/specialty of interest
• Additional specialty certifications may be required (e.g., ACLS, PALS, CCRN, TNCC depending on unit)
