Certified Medical Assistant - Full Time - Bilingual Spanish
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.
- Ability to perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, phlebotomy, and administering injections as required.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software.
- Ability to travel between two office locations, Paterson and Paramus.
- Podiatry experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
- Experience with patient education and health promotion activities.
- Greet and prepare patients for examinations, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the visit.
- Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information accurately.
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and minor procedures by preparing instruments and supplies.
- Facilitate clear communication between Spanish-speaking patients and medical staff to ensure accurate information exchange.
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and processing insurance information.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards at all times.
- Coordinate with other healthcare team members to optimize patient flow and clinic efficiency.
