Flexible Remote Work Setting: The Marketsmith Inc office is open for jobs that require that in-person support, but the team is predominantly working from home as we have fully transitioned to a work-from-anywhere in the United States model.

Who we need:


Overview:
We are seeking a highly strategic and articulate Paid Search Specialist/Strategist with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Google-specific platforms—Search, YouTube, and Google Display Network (GDN). This individual should be well-versed in both planning and buying, and bring a performance-driven approach to campaign strategy and execution. The ideal candidate is data-savvy, collaborative, and eager to adopt and implement AI-powered tools to enhance media effectiveness. You’ll play a key role in shaping and optimizing paid media strategies across a diverse client portfolio while staying ahead of digital trends—including the use of artificial intelligence in advertising.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, buy, launch, manage, and optimize paid search campaigns (PPC/SEM) across Google Ads (Search, YouTube, GDN), Bing, and emerging channels. .
  • Develop comprehensive media plans and forecasts rooted in performance goals and audience insights.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research, audience targeting, and competitive analysis to inform campaign strategies.
  • Write compelling ad copy and test creative variations to improve click-through and conversion rates.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance metrics (e.g., CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS), providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Present campaign strategies, results, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders in a clear, data-driven manner.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with account management, creative, and data teams to ensure integrated, high-performing campaigns.
  • Utilize and experiment with AI-driven tools for campaign automation, bid management, and data analysis to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Stay current with industry trends, latest platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging trends in digital advertising and AI.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and process improvement.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in paid search advertising, with a focus on Google platforms (Search, YouTube, GDN) in an agency or in-house setting.
  • Proven track record of campaign planning, buying, and hands-on execution with performance marketing KPIs.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data and translate them into media recommendations.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Bing Ads, and AI-based ad tech solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with A/B testing, bid management strategies, and performance-driven optimization.
  • Google Ads and/or Google Analytics certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to present ideas and results effectively to clients and teams.
  • Self-starter with a proactive, collaborative, and adaptable mindset, and a keen interest in digital innovation and AI.
