Join to apply for the Locum - Gastroenterology - MD/DO role at Atlanticare Regional Medical Job Opportunity: Locum Gastroenterologist in Atlantic City, NJ Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Locum Gastroenterologist, providing 24-hour coverage in a reputable facility located in beautiful Atlantic City, New Jersey. This role includes a 7 on/7 off rotation between two campuses, allowing you to balance work and leisure while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of this iconic coastal city. Practice Overview Clinical Areas: Adult, Inpatient / Hospital-based acute care Reason for Coverage: Transitioning GI practice Average Patient Load: 1520 (clinic), 5 (hospital-based) Facility Features: Onsite Lab, X-Ray, Cerner EMR Trauma Designation: Level 2 Job Responsibilities Provide 24-hour hospital-based call coverage. Conduct lower and upper GI endoscopy procedures, including colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and esophageal manometry. Manage and interpret advanced GI procedures such as EUS and ERCP. Perform on-site consultations and procedures during the daytime. Cover overnight calls from 5 PM to 7 AM. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care. Create and maintain accurate medical records using Cerner EMR. Qualifications Board Certified in Gastroenterology (REQUIRED) Proficiency in advanced GI procedures (including ERCP, EUS) (REQUIRED) Experience working in a Level 2 trauma center. Preferred experience with Cerner EMR. Willingness to obtain New Jersey License (highly preferred).
