TITLE: Software DeveloperEMPLOYER: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc.DUTIES: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Software Developer in New Brunswick, NJ, and the job duties are as follows:- Research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.- Plan system and development deployment as well as be responsible for meeting software compliance standards.- Evaluate interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system.- Document testing and maintenance of system corrections.LOCATION: New Brunswick, NJREQUIREMENTS: Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in the IT industry.Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:- Conducting data processing and storage for Big Data Applications using Hadoop;- Writing Map Reduce Program for parallel processing of data using Python;- Utilizing Scala with Apache Spark to analyze and process data; and- Working with Linux.Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:- Leveraging Oozie to manage and execute Hadoop tasks in a distributed environment; and- Implementing CI/CD using Jenkins.All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, which may also include a drug screen depending on work assignment.OFFERED WAGE: $131,997.00 per yearTO APPLY: Email resume to [email protected].
