Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and or abilities required. • Read and interpret technical documentsincluding work instructions and bills of materialto properly assemble product.
• Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, machinery, or automated equipment. Work to close tolerances on intricate small assembly work.
• Perform quality checks on assembled parts to ensure they meet specifications.
• Record production data, including quantities assembled and downtime. Notify leader of defective materials or faulty operations.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and resolve assembly issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace; adhere to health, safety, and environmental protocols.
• Aid in maintaining proper flow within the work cell. Operate as a team player at prescribed performance levels consistent with quality.
• Perform necessary transactions in ERP system to maintain accurate inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED or related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Mechanically inclined with previous experience in a manufacturing environment or related field

Qualifications

• Familiar with assembly tools and equipment
• Quality assurance experience a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be authorized to work in the US

• Shop floor working environment
• Noise level is minimal with intervals of spikes
• Required to wear safety glasses and utilize other safety equipment as required while present on the production floor

Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 4:30pm - 3:00am

Shift Differential: 5% of hourly rate

The starting compensation for this position is $21.22 per hour. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
