Salary: $80,000–$90,000

A respected and growing law firm in New Jersey is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Assistant to support attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives on organization, client communication, and litigation support while contributing to the success of a collaborative legal team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys
- Prepare, organize, and maintain physical and electronic case files
- Coordinate communications with clients, courts, witnesses, and opposing counsel
- Draft, proofread, and format legal correspondence and documents
- Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, filings, and scheduling
- Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and court dates
- File legal documents electronically and maintain accurate records
- Support day-to-day office operations to ensure efficiency and professionalism
Qualifications
- 10+ years as a Legal Assistant or Litigation Assistant preferred
- Knowledge of legal office procedures and litigation processes
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
