Assistant Buyer (Cosmetic Packaging)

Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Buyer. As an Assistant Buyer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement and inventory control processes. You will work closely with the buying team to ensure timely and efficient procurement of goods and services.

Duties:- Assist in the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and placing purchase orders- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues that may arise- Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining optimal stock levels- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and evaluate their capabilities- Assist in analyzing sales data and trends to make informed purchasing decisions- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure smooth transportation and delivery of goods- Track orders, manage inventory, and generate reports- Support the buying team in managing supplier relationships and resolving any disputes or discrepancies- Assist in conducting price negotiations to secure the best possible deals for the company

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within manufacturing environment- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory control, and supply chain management- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing from suppliers- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends- Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers
