Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Java development and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to join our dynamic team. This role involves building and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure to support our software development lifecycle and data pipelines.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in DevOps best practices , CI/CD pipelines , cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and have hands-on experience working with Java-based applications and ETL tools (such as Informatica, Talend, or Apache NiFi). You will collaborate closely with software engineers, data engineers, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployments, monitor performance, and ensure data integrity and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities

• 9+ years in DevOps, web based related system development including Java experience in developing or maintaining intranet systems.
• Experienced Java Developer with either knowledge in the following areas: Full J2EE stack, RIA framework, Spring, iBatis/Hibernate/JPA, Java, JDBC, JSP/Servlet, Web Services, JMS, etc.
• Experience with either applications servers: WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, or Sun One J2EEWAS
• Experience with HTML/DHTML, jQuery/JSON, Java Script, AJAX
• Experience with Database modeling with RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL, Maria DB, Etc.)
• Experience with RDBMS store procedure & function development
• Experience with multiple Server Operating System: UNIX, Linux, Windows server platforms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or related discipline with an information technology focus
• API development experiences are plus
• ETL development experience with ETL Tools (Alteryx, Oracle Data Integrator, MS SQL SSIS, etc.) preferred
• BI reporting tools (Tableau, MS Power BI, etc.) development experiences are preferred
• Working with Samsung Global Systems such as Next ERP/GSCM preferred
• Full lifecycle of ETL implementation understanding preferred (analysis, architecture, design, development, data extraction, staging and storage, transformation, presentation, testing, cutover/go-live planning)
• Bilingual (Korean and English) required
