Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. The Warehouse Associate will support daily warehouse operations including receiving, organizing, and distributing HVAC equipment, parts, and materials. This role is vital in ensuring our field technicians and installation crews have the supplies they need to serve our customers efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and store HVAC equipment, parts, and materials
Pull and prepare materials for daily job orders and technician requests
Assist with inventory control and cycle counts
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
Load and unload trucks and deliveries using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified)
Package and label items for shipment or technician pickup
Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
Assist with returns, restocking, and disposal of damaged goods
Communicate with technicians, vendors, and office staff to support field operations
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous warehouse or HVAC experience is a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Basic computer or inventory software experience preferred
Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to become certified)
Must be dependable, punctual, and a team player
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced warehouse environment
Occasional exposure to heat or cold depending on season and storage area
May require early hours, overtime, or weekend availability
