Firm specializing in personal injury law seeking an experienced full time legal secretary to join staff, urgently. Candidate should be knowledgeable with all aspects of litigation. Extremely organized and able to manage high volume workload. Must be able to meet deadlines and work well without direct supervision. Candidate must be able to multitask and work well with others in the firm. Bi-Lingual (Spanish and English) is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Filing on eCourts


• Drafting pleadings, complaints, motions, answers to interrogatories, discovery demands, deposition notices.


• Manage discovery end dates, statutes of limitations, any and all deadlines.


• Meticulously manage diary.


• Answer emails and phone calls, including but not limited to, clients, court personnel, law firms and medical offices.


• MAIL AND EMAILS MUST BE PRIORITIZED. Must print/ open all mail, date stamp each one and log into diary with precision!


• General office duties such as calendaring, filing, scanning, and faxing.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)


• Proficient in Google Chrome

Job Type: Fulltime, Salary is negotiable

Compensation: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
